The exhibition Bellissima. L’Italia dell’alta moda 1945–1968 at Villa Reale in Monza features a refined display that harmoniously engages with the historic setting. Light, colorful fabric layers—resembling floating carpets—define thematic areas, while micro-LED structures highlight haute couture pieces. Wall mirrors inspired by Gio Ponti’s designs reflect both space and fashion’s connection to art, showcasing contemporary works alongside garments. A 40-meter table in the hallway simulates a designer’s studio, displaying textile samples that trace the history of Italian fabric production. The journey begins with Federico Garolla’s striking photographs and unfolds through the villa in an immersive, elegant narrative.
