Walking Pleasure

The Walking Pleasure exhibition at Triennale di Milano marks the 70th anniversary of the Moreschi brand and is designed as a multi-sensory experience.
Set within the Triennale’s Impluvium, the installation invites visitors to reflect on the themes of walking and movement from a variety of perspectives.

Movement becomes performance in Walking Pleasure, where a large black “Magic Box” sits at the center of a mirrored, dynamic landscape. Inside, a multisensory journey unfolds: projections, textures, and sound immerse visitors in the many meanings of walking. Videos show Moreschi’s artisans, iconic film scenes, and the shoe-making process, while the cube—made of light-absorbing, soundproof material—reveals hidden bas-relief texts. Guests pass through leather curtains into a space lined with diverse leather materials, surrounded by light, sound, and images that turn walking into a poetic, tactile, and technological experience.

In collaboration with Migliore + Servetto Architects.
